He has more than 15 years IT experience on over 90 projects, including as a former Director of Research & Development at an eLearning software company and as a Director of Project Delivery at an XML content-management systems integrator.
He is a Professional in Critical Infrastructure Protection (PCIP). The PCIP certification is the first and only certification focusing directly on national security.
He has a wide business experience and has written several books and numerous magazine articles.
His experience with developing online communities began with videotext, including the world’s largest videotext network spanning Alaska, Canada, continental USA, Greenland and Denmark.
In the early days of the Internet he developed BBS using Worldgroup, delivering the online version of Hansard.
His current focus is information-management architectures for Enterprise (Web) 2.0, especially the role of social networking tools.
